If you haven’t tryed these bits yet you are missing out . They are $20.00 at home depot and they were on sale on Christmas time for $10.00 . But any way I have used them a lot with my makita impact driver , 1/2 corded makita drill and cordless 1/2 makita drill and they are amazing.They have the numbers painted white on them but also it is carved in them to so when it wears out you can still tell . The bit extender has two alan key screws and the set comes with a Alan key too ! The most heavy duty work I have done was a railroad tie to 1/2 pine and all sorts of thickness. I’ve Heard those are very nice and seen reviews, however, I just can’t seem to shake my obsession with the irwin speedbore bits, I think we have a working relationship now I’ve used them for so much. Someday maybe. …

I have the irwin speed bores but I also picked up the larger kit of the bosch spades a while back fairly cheap ranging from 3/8″ all the way to 1 3/4″ by 1/8″ increments. Nice bits though because it has the sizes that the speed bores don’t have.
the daredevil bits are amazing
I too like the dare devil bits, and the Erwin’s are a good brand as well.

Those bits are awesome, I want to toss all the other/older spade bits I have and buy another set of the Daredevil…
Ive seen these for cheap fairly often,just never pulled the trigger,I most likely will one day as Bosch makes great bits I have some GreenLee branded ones i use.around the house here and there,they dont self feed or anything thou. I think i have from 3/8″ to 1 1/2″ in those.
Seems like HD constantly has them clearanced.
