Looks like our speculation has come to fruition! We speculated after Metabo was acquired by Hitachi that we’d see Metabo at Lowe’s, well it happened sooner than we all probably expected. This is NOT my picture but came from a member on another forum named “QualityTools” from Southern California.
This is bad really bad! I don’t need another battery platform!! :}
Not at my local store yet. I am going to stick with Milwaukee unless there are some too good to pass up deals.
Yes I agree! Too late, when I picked up my Dewalt dual charger and 4.0 Bluetooth battery for $109, saw the Metabo tool display and as you would have it, it was whispering to me! John, John, John! Get over here, and Buy ME! Oh well it’s only money right? Damn……

I’m surprised they have metabo in lowes even with the hitachi agreement. Lowes usually has lower quality tools than home depot when I’ve been there.

I felt the same Jimbo but go in there and see they changed the color scheme they look like Klein now. Only screw drivers are that crap brown color
