I know I’m cheap, but also simple; I reuse stuff I find or that I’m given. I do know when I need to spend some money though. But there’s times I get a whopper of a deal and I’m ok with not perfect appearance as long as it’s good stuff.
Below is the shoe holder I got off Amazon I modded to hang towels on a door I was given with trim around it I got for cheap is one example.
Small bathrooms can be hard to organize but I found something for it…
The shoe/towel rack works perfect! I ordered it hoping I could change it somehow to fit my needs and voila!

I still have baseboard to finish but I got about 850′ total of trim like in the pic and baseboard, red oak, unfinished for $.90/ foot. So, that was my bargain of a lifetime.
Anyone else have interesting ideas for small bathroom storage? Maybe a set of shelves that lower thru the ceiling from the attic space? Ha

Building shelves into the walls is a good space saver. Or the tilting shelfs that go where the sink is. And not enough room for a drawer

I guess I should have put a pic showing how it was meant to be. I simply pulled off the arms that are meant to hold the heal of the shoe

Thanks for that second pic, I had no idea howTF that was originally a shoe rack, haha. Makes much more sense now!
Very innovative of you! Bathroom storage for me has always been a hassle.
Great idea.
