Has anyone created a carry case just for batteries and charger out of either tstak or toughsystem that could share there idea. I’m looking to do something myself

Thanks guys

I would think the Toughsystem DS150 would fit the bill.

I store all mine in a box that came with my dcd 995, not stackable though.

I’ve 5 batteries and don’t think I’d need anymore really. Do you think the ds150 might be a bit overkill. If possible I’d like to squeeze 5 batteries plus charger into a Tstak

Did u cut foam to suit or are they just lose in the box?

No I have them loose in it but I have enough batteries they don’t bounce around

I believe in “Over Kill”…….if you are already vested in the TStak system then I am sure that would work. [emoji851][emoji851][emoji851]

Cool idea would be to make battery attachment blank attachment points with a 3d printer. You could attach them to anything after that. I should actually start a business making them 🙂

If anybody’s interested I have the capability of making the cad files and will pro bono if somebody out there’s got a 3D printer to test out this idea.

That is a really cool idea! I would be in for a few to attach to the inside of my xl toughbox to straighten things out.

Anybody have the interior dimensions for one of the toughcases? I really like your idea and want to make me a set of modular inserts. If not Dan I’m sure I can find a guy to have them printed. I’ll send you a copy Jasonc for the idea and/or post the CAD file here. HD doesn’t have the cases in stock. At least it’ll give me one more reason to not finish my hw.

I only have the Ridgid storage boxes. I don’t have any Dewalt Toughcases.

All “inside” measurements

My first thought was of this. Since the bins are a good size and removeable, Depending on the size, you could put them right in.

9 batteries plus charger but very loose.

I prefer top set up [emoji4]

StercorariusMember since Dec 2015

I’m gonna have to buy me one of those cases, I think with the way those walls are ribbed I could make a system that has interlocking bins like the Milwaukee but you can snap in batteries and chargers. Kinda like a Bosch L-boxx but more modular. So you have like a box and you have five different interchangeable units, one for a single battery, one for 2 compact batteries, one for the fast charger, one for the standard charger(charger units being equivalent to two of the standard units) and one that’s just a parts bin. All of these lock together and you can just pick and choose the combinations and orientation you want to fill your case.

Wow 77Ford…..that’s a lot of batteries!

Have you thought about building a sub? Those babies would get you from Maine to Florida underwater!!

JimboS1iceMember since Sep 2015

Seeing this I might have to explore into adding to my Milwaukee storage case collection having one for batteries… Here we go again lol

I’m with Steven for that Job Kaizen foam or better still yellow and black contrast foam with batteries mounted on their sides to display mAh rating (assuming too tall to mount end on for even more space saving)  also assuming a decent price available for kaizen or equivalent too as it seems horrendous pricing to me (any Peeps from the UK can hook me up please drop me a PM 🙂  )

Love dewalt , was annoyed that they didn’t include the foam with the boxes though. After all some of the prerelease photos actually had the foam in it.

In one of deeper tstacks was actually able to get framing nailer and finish nailer- cordless, plus the large impact wrench.
