This thing is cursed. While making it, my planer broke down, my sanding belts broke, and other bullshit. But in the end, I think it came out well.[External image (images.tapatalk-cdn.com), not copied]

Great job! Looks awesome!
Nice stuff, does the mattress stays within the rim of the bed ?
Sorry to hear about the bad luck but it came out looking great!
Thanks for the compliments! In response to hemdale, it stays in the bed and protrudes about three inches or so. Now I need to make drawers for under… Looking at Matthias Wandel’s plans for underbed drawers, but I’ll have to modify them for carpet. Any of you guys have experience with rgb led strips? Want to put mood lights under the bed.

Hi Spencer. Rgb led strips can be difficult sometime to stick to wood. Had to use some VHF double sided tape to glue one onto a wood beam. Will give you the ref number if you’re interested
I hate making my bed, maybe because it doesn’t involve using power tools 😛 Nice work man, sorry to hear about all the tool troubles though.
Looks nice and solid. I like it.
