Got some pallets from work to make some planters. Built this one today and will build a second one tomorrow. I’m going to put them out near the front porch in the spring with some new bushes in them. I’ll stain them & go for a rustic look.
Planning on painting or staining it?

Nice work!
That looks really nice man. The timing is funny, my wife wants me to get her a couple older looking pallets for a craft she is working on.

It’s awesome to use wood that is just going to be thrown away eventuall!!

Finished the second one today. Added some vertical pieces on the corners to frame it out. Looks much better, gives it more of a “crate” look.
Looks good! Can’t beat turning free pallets into someone cool, nice work
Those look great!
Like everyone else has said… Great job man!
Those turned out really nice…..gotta love the material cost 🙂
Those look great! I love pallets, unfortunately can’t seem to find any freebies anymore. Everyone wants to try to sell them instead of just throw them out, haha! Great job!
Those really look great,
Put some stain and varnish on these. I don’t know what was on this pallet wood but it didn’t want to soak up that much stain. I did a few coats and let some dry on the surface. Followed up with some spar varnish. A little uneven in spots but I like the look. They’ll go out in the spring with some new bushes.
I like that rustic look, great job.
Look good man!!
