Been installing board & batton this weekend. So far so good. 1×6 top and bottom boards with 1×3 vertical boards.

That looks nice man. I’m getting ready to install chair rail in our dining room. I’m trying to talk my wife into board and batton.

Yeah, in the first pic you can see the chair rail with wallpaper on the left that I’m replacing.

I think they both would look fine, but I just think the board and batton looks sharp.

Right On! Sweet looking project.  Looking forward to the day when the 2 boys rooms become vacant, one for my model railroad, and one for my game/tavern room.

Do they have an adjacent wall? Knock it out, railroads have a funny way of growing themselves lol. But a sweet set up would be to incorporate the railroad around a larger room with the game room in the middle.

Just a few small details to finish but it’s mostly complete.

Absolutely agree. Gorgeous and really inviting. Next time I’m in NC I’ll swing by with Sam Adams and tip a pint! I might use this for my living room remodel I’m planning. Awesome job.

I will right over for beer!! Seriously though, look warm and inviting place to relax, I really like how it all ties together.

Looks really good! I like your decor style as well, very manish/pubish/outtfitterish. The B&B really pulled that room together. Cheers!
