I think now that I’m older I think about what can happen to you if you fall. It started for me when a guy in town fell of his ladder cleaning his gutters and died.

I’m the same way, now at 30, I think about the things I did in my early 20s at Sports Authority in the rafters and on the H-frames. Like strattling a corner gap, 20+ feet up, unharnessed pulling a stack of 6 canoes to make room. Luckily there was a nice pallet of dumbells to cushion my fall if I fell.

Why did they design the roof in the back like that, so much wasted space looks like a slip n slide. Yup that roof is going to take forever to do

Theres alot of wasted space in this house i mean theres at least 20 feet of attic space (hight) he could of easy put a 3rd floor up there but ya when they designed this house and roof i think the owners wherr like make everything as big as possible and go bigger lol

It looks dumb I would have made that another room. The owner must be compensating for something..lol Is land expensive there?

Did they knock down the house that was there or was it just land before??

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I don’t know why, but It was popular for medical offices for awhile to put in these huge roofs. I didn’t get it as the developer/owner. It’s just wasted space/ materials, plus the added cost. People that own they or buy them later are going to be pissed when they see how much it will cost for a reroof on them. The added cost on this house being a hip sucked bad enough!!!

Justin HernandezMember since Apr 2015

Most likely the roof has to be done using a boom lift and it will be slow going. Tool Rental company will love you though

my bosses own 3 zoom booms so we use that to load trusses and material

Heights aren’t all that bad…. Even the fall isn’t too scary. What gets ya is the thought of the sudden stop at the bottom. [emoji16]
