The Matco truck without tools in it might be cheaper than that box!

and easier to move around ha,ha

Don’t get me wrong they are nice boxes just way out of my budget. A couple of our mechanics in our shop have them and gave about 10k for them. I drool over them everytime I go hangout out with them.

Mine too….Honestly I’d rather put the coin into the tools but if the wife leaves one under the tree I won’t complain LOL

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

A buddy of mine has a box like that. LED lights, stereo you name it. Sweet tool chest to be sure and he is one proud mechanic.

That’s a lotta dirt!

LOL, I said the same thing as I pulled in the driveway tonight. Good thing my Dad is bringing over his tractor that has a bucket on it. Otherwise, I would be starting to panic about now 🙂

Well, while not project related I spent the day with my 3 year old grandson.  But it had me thinking, of all the cool projects I will be making for him.  Starting with a custom step stool, so he can wash his hands in the sink.  I already made him a cool name plaque, that looks like a train.  Also made him a bunch of wooden cars and trucks to play with. I forgot how much fun it is to have a “little buddy” to hang out with.

Those Matco’s are sharp man. Any idea what that would cost? I’m gonna guess 12k won’t touch it.

A big hello from Limerick Maine….TIA style!

chrisK those ATV’s look like a damn fun time.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Thanks Pete! Absolute blast, though truthfully this was in a sandpit we stumbled across. After 30 minutes going up and down huge hills I was about to blow chunks. I’m giving the thumbs up but I though I was gonna hurl 😀

Awesome trail ride and representing my boys though!

Got up bright and early to start spreading the fill. My Dad delivered the tractor in a roll-off. 🙂 The day went pretty well, I only buried the tractor once. Used the Jeep and some chains to pull it out. We ended up using 46 cubic yard of fill and I still have to cap it off with top soil

During the course of the day, we found a couple of toads and a salamander in the fill. My daughter rescued them and set them free. 🙂

Hey man just because she had a kid doesn’t mean she is taken. That kid just means that she knows how it works!

Today the window crank fell apart on an ’89 Jeep Wrangle YJ. So I fixed it. Very simple repair considering how easy it is to remove jeep doors. I made a template while it was apart, I’m thinking this jeep is going to be a ‘woody’. Real wood dash and door panels. Mostly because I can use scraps and that how you roll in a YJ

Nice job Big Mike!!

For me….I got to work in my shop. With my buddy having been ill I was staying away from the shop but this week, I got my head outta my butt and went down there. I’ve been taking a woodworking class to boot so I got to mess around with my lathe after I finished up my Kapex station. I am almost done wiring in a permanent outlet for my lathe and I moved my work table over to its probably last location. Added trim boards and painted and hopefully I can start assembling my new 14″ Rikon behemoth bamdsaw!
