I just bought the Dewalt DCS380B and it has no integrated LED light. Acme Tools shows that the 380 has a light and I have seen that the 387 has a light. My question is does maybe the type 2 or 3 have a light and I got the older model meaning no light? Does anyone else here who has the 380 have a light on their Dewalt 380? It’s not a real big deal but I hate buying a new tool and getting a lesser tool than whats available. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!
It might be the pack in tool with some of the bigger combo kits to keep the price down. I can’t remember if the 20v Dewalt recip launched with an LED light.
My 380B didn’t have the light; I bought it as the bare tool.
The DCS387B I upgraded to this past year does have the light.

ok thanks for the replies.yeah I heard that the compact model has an LED. It’s not really that big of an issue unlike on drills and drivers.
