Who is this for?
Anyone that uses their Facebook account to Sign-In and wants to use the Tapatalk App on their Android/iOS device.
What is the problem?
Incorrect Username and/or Password
To Sign-In with the Forum in the Tapatalk App, it will ask you to enter a Forum Username and Password. If however, you sign into the forum using your Facebook account, you never created a Forum Username and Password in the first place.
What is the solution?
[Do this on a computer or web browser]
In the upper right, Click On Your Name.
Choose My Settings.
Click on the Email and Password Tab.
Under Password. Enter a New Password. Confirm Password.
Click on Save Changes button on the bottom.
[Do this in the Tapatalk App]
Find the Power Tools Forum.
Tap on the 3 Lines on the upper left.
Tap on Sign-In.
Under Username, Enter your name as it appears on Facebook. This is case sensitive.
Under Password, Enter the password you just created.
This should sign you into the forum in the Tapatalk App.
I hope this helps anyone. I hope I didn’t make things even more complicated than it had to be. I just had this problem, found a solution, and want to share it with others who may be in the same boat. Take Care!
