See what the European markets got
Yeah that looks like a pretty sweet track saw kit.
yeah i looked into that one already, but damn – wrong voltage haha
its a nice saw . they should make it cordless haha, then i would order it from there
That’s the nice thing about cordless tools if your willing to pay the cost you can import pretty much anything as long as you have a charger that works on your voltage
if that saw would see the us market, it would be cheaper than in germany/europe
Wow, that’s a sweat looking saw. Make me want a plunge saw even more now….
I’m really thinking that Bosch is right up there with the Festool TS. A really good bit of kit and it’d be really nice if they’d come here to the U.S. with it.

but really bad for my wallet haha
I figured u Bosch fans would be drooling. U never know Dewalt started in the foreign market with it’s track saw, I believe.
Looks very well built and if my buddy Chrisk is putting up there with festool then we know this looks like a quality tool!
One stupid feature that I really like is the depth stop know that is preset for the track depth. Genius that. Really well though out.
I can’t justify the expense of the Festool and the DeWalt and Makita leave me feeling ‘meh’. I bet I could really like a Bosch, assuming I could afford it…
gonna be the same price – maybe 100 bucks less or so
As the Festool?
Ya i think if the Bosch track saw would come out here then it prolly cost 500 or so
Ahh, I was thinking of he cost of the miter saw. Oops.
BK, if your considering a track saw and can’t go new festool you may want to consider used.. a lot of times you can find very lightly used festools on ebay.. also if it is within 3 years than you can take advantage of festools superb warranty.. you could actually just call festool and say you don’t think it’s cutting well or that it’s out of adjustment and they will pay for the shipping to and from them and do a complete breakdown of the tool and make any repairs necessary. All fully covered within the first 3 years
The Bosch does seem like a very nice saw.. I think it would be great it if came to the US just so there was some real competition for festool.. the track looks substantial but it appears that it is in no way compatible with festool
I agree with you on the depth stop feature. It really looks like Bosch put some thought into this track saw.ChrisK1970 wrote:

This is a Mafell product. They took away some features from their saw for the Bosch version. Bosch rails/tracks are what Mafell uses. Still a great looking saw. I hope it comes to NA someday just for the competition!
ya i heard something about it, but never really looked more into it.
but if it hits the market, im the first 😀
the Mafell is one serious saw!!
Really looks like they thought this through. They did their research for sure.
This tool cost 433 euros in Lithuania 😛
i hope the best that we gonna see that track saw in the US
Just got this saw yesterday in Australia,3.1 metre and 1.6 metre tracks, clamps and saw was around $500 cheaper than Festool. Going to have a play today. I bought it as I have a large cladding job coming up with Hardie panel and don’t want to be cutting it without dust extraction.
Wow, that is sweet! I have the track for my little mini saw, works slick.
Just an update on how the saw performed on scyon 3m X 1.2 m sheets. I had 40 sheets to install and with this saw hooked up to a festool ct36 dust extractor there was no need for dust masks or even safety glasses as almost all dust was captured and caught in the dusty. The ease of use of the track saw was great and accuracy was brilliant. I cannot believe how long I persisted using straight edges clamped to sheet stock and cut with a circular saw. The track saw is much quicker and easier. I have also used it with the stock blade for cutting melamine and the results have been similar to it being cut on a panel saw with scribing blade. I am extremely happy with my saw and would put it in the I don’t know how I got by without it category.
The saw seems real nice (comparable to Festool) and the price seems pretty good, but what kind of prices for the tracks and accessories if they are in fact Maffell? A work surface/MDF table can’t be far behind.
Here in Australia the Bosch tracks are significantly cheaper than festool which ended up being the deciding factor for me. Not sure about a table as I use this saw mainly on site generally with 4x2s on saw horses as a bench.
