I’m not sure of the brand or the age. Got it after father in law passed away. It has no markings, but I’m thinking its a craftsman. That seems like all he owned. It still works like a beast.
Google is so great!!;
1970’s 1/2″ drill Model No. 7250. 4.2 amps – 500 rpm – no load. They made a point of indicating it is “reversible” on the label. Made in Brockville,Ontario

The little scrap of orange label is what told me it was a black and decker… then it was just a matter of scrolling through google images..
Neat drill
it works still because it was built in an era when B&D we built to last….
Wow thanks ner, good catch on that little piece of orange label. Yeah com b&d definitly not what it used to be.

Did you guys know that BD had a drill on board when we landed on the moon, and Stanley had a tape with on the same trip
Wow that’s crazy!
Companies that were innovators in their time. Seems as though they fell behind the pack, in the end.
Reverse was a new feature at one time. Earlier drills were mostly low amp, 1/4″ chuck, without reverse. I still don’t use reverse except on the rare occasion I’m using it as a driver.
Yeah it doesn’t have a reverse that I see. Unless I’m missing something.
