We need to start a petition to bring it back. That’s a cool looking saw.

I think 1300 is the new Saw Stop job site saw money. And it just goes up from there.

At my work the saw stop rep said it would be about 1200-1300
Yeah, my brother in law wantd a saw that had no movement and was dead on. I forget the brand but the thing is huge and had to be brought in on a fork lift. It cost near $5000. I hate people that have that kind of money to throw away.
I didn’t know Dewalt even made a tablesaw like that. Hope they do bring it back
did they stop making them?
Yes
Stopped making it in 2009, shortly after they acquired Delta, and just before they launched the new UniSaw… At the time, it seemed Delta would be for shop saws, while DEWALT stuck with portable tools…
I bought that saw back then for under 1K(saw only)….What kills you is the upgrades. The mobile base, Extra. Cast iron sides…with and without a sliding table, MUCH extra. Side table with longer rails, you guessed it, more money. Then the rear extension was the cheapest add on but still. It was a GREAT, heavy, solid saw, but have since simplified and compacted to the dw744 with my own custom tables I am very happy with.
