Mind you, this is a quote from DeWALT UK on Facebook…
“In 2015 we’re bringing you our biggest update yet. Throughout the year we’ll be launching a whole host of new and updated products, with the introduction of a brand new range. Stay tuned for more information…”
That brand new range might be the 40V Max?! Wonder what they call it in UK/Europe…. 36V XR?!
Anyway, the future looks bright yellow 🙂
Man that’s awesome to hear but bad for my bank account lol can’t wait to see what team yellow brings out.plz plz plz let there be a 1/2 brushless impact!!!!
Hey….AWESOME! Now us Americans can sit back and watch the rest of the world play with new toys for….I don’t know….2….maybe 3 years? Then…..we get to play!

Yea I am begging for a one with at least 700 foot pounds of fastening.
I’d be content with a 20V brad/finish nailer and a stand alone drill press but I’m excited nonetheless. My wallet is less than enthused, lol
Oh I also want a 20V double cut metal shear.
And a brushless deep cut band saw that can do at least 4.5″ x 4.5″
Hopefully the 2015 catalogue will have some insight. I was just notified its the mail, so I’ll see soon enough.
Is the catalogue only available to pros or can regular consumers get access to it as well?
I can’t wait to see what yellow brings. My wallet and wife on the hand definitely can wait
I see going broke in my Future…..I will need to find more places to hide my tools from she who shall not be named 🙂
Been waiting for 3 years for Yellow to introduce some nice new tools…..My Red Fuel Line has been expanding
cant wait.
im hoping for
the 2nd fix nailer
cordless planer
cordless sander
maybe an adapter to make 2 a8v batteries into a 36v like makita
Welcome to the Forum Alan M!
thanks Chris
I didn’t realise this was my first post.
its nice to see a familiar face on a new forum.
im on the FOG under the same name
Hey alright! That’s awesome! I ended up joining the FOG last December when my wife, Samantha, bought my TS55. Great place for advice on Festools. I hope you like it here, really friendly chat from a great group of people. All skill levels to zero to full time pros! You should check ou the YouTube channel too!
Welcome Alan M,
Im another FOG convert over here.. I was very active on the FOG for about 1.5 years until i found this forum.. I have been visiting FOG less and less lately.. I think you will find TIA to be a much more diverse, fun place to be!
I have nothing against FOG, they never did me wrong over there, I still pop in from time to time to catch up and i still love Festool 🙂
Um we don’t mention fog over here. Lol. Welcome to the forum.
Maybe this is the year I up grade from my 18V XRPs.
I’m holding out for a finish nailer.

Hey man welcome to the form.
I’m sorry and hate to be such a downer right off the bat but makita has a few patents that would go against 20V dual 36 volt tools.
I thought as much
maybe they will pay the royalties . only wishful thinking
2nd fix/finish nailers are a go. I wonder what we will see though. I hope 15GA, 16GA and 18GA, but I’m not sure they will launch all three…
It has to be this year. I wanna ditch those old clunky 18v batteries in favor for some 5.0ah packs with a shiny lightweight brushless nailer attached to it.
I’m hoping for a 15 and 16. I have a shop that he old lady stays out of, has no idea what I have for tools. I think she prefers to keep it that way.

Catalog arrived yesterday. Browsed through and didn’t notice anything that we don’t already know or have. It’s more like a 2014 catalog.
just talked to my dewalt dealer. he is expecting the nail gun in Ireland in july or august.
I know its sad but I can t sleep O0
REALLY?!?!?!….. :/RickyMcGrath wrote:

Obviously they don’t show products that are not available yet. It would be nice to know, but on the other hand spoils it for the rest of year as you know what’s coming already 😉
I know it would ruin the surprise so to speak but I think it would help with organising tool purchases .
lets say you want a laminate trimmer to speed up your operation but don’t need it now. if you new that a new model or a cordless model was coming in 6 months time. I know I would wait.
agree and it gives me time to save and not spend on other tools/brandsAlan m wrote:

I bet u guys open your presents before Christmas too.
of course not.
I would like to have a brief overview of what s in thee pipe line. wouldn’t have to be specifc
I think knowing ahead of time would let me plan my project builds better as well. I’d really like to see the finish nailer in the next month or two if possible.
To be honest, I would love to know what’s coming out to. I hate waiting, especially since dewalt has let us down with new release the past couple of years. I had to bust on u guys.
