UTB5 – First Delivery 🙂

Hey Guys!

I went to Lowes to get some LED lights for my wood shop (they were sold out) and just got home. In checking my mailbox, Kathy, my letter carrier left a note that there was a package in the shed. It was from Eric and Dan! Ripped that box open and lickity split…there were two Tools In Action shirts and my Rotozip + kit! I better get my tail in gear! I haven’t made room and space for the Rolair!

Thanks again Dan, Eric and Travis! I will continue to post as the deliveries come! I can’t wait to try the Rotozip out. The tool comes with everything, a circular saw blade, diamond blade, grinding wheel, two extra collet sleeves and two drywall blades. Side handle and saw attachment, side handle, vacuum port and a nice quality bag. The motor starts smooth and at maximum RPM it’s really not too loud. It’s amazing how similar it is to a router. Thank you so much!

I just watched TIA’s rotozip review again plus some extra ones on youtube. I have to say, ill drive to lowes tmw and buy one for $99.

Yeah, I didn’t cut anything yesterday but a, going to get some more OSB. I will give it a shot in the base,net stair way maybe today. I was talking to Samantha and she though it would be great to cut out some shelves in the stairway to clear up the pantry and move some canned goods. Well….now I can’t say no!

This is just the beginning. The boxes will start to pop up every day it’s like Christmas all over again and again. You pull up to the house and see the boxes and you start to get that warm and fuzzy feeling all over. Congrats once again !!!!

There is nothing better than coming home to a new tool sitting on the front steps… our yeah there is, when they are all free!!! You da man Chris!! Congrats 🙂

Thanks guys. I know I keep saying it but WOW. It still hasn’t sunk in! But the Rotozip is going to get some use maybe today! I just got back from my Mother and Father in Laws from shoveling, cleaned the pellet stove. I’m going to go downstairs in an hour or so and start plugging away at the shop and maybe try my new toy out! Carrol….I can’t wait!

Chris, post some picks of the work your doing with the Rotozip, I’m looking to pick one of these myself one of these days

I’ve had a rotozip for a few years now. Picked up a new one and all the accessories a few months ago.

ya I picked up my rotozip+ from lowes yesterday for $99. I was today at homedepot and they have the same kit for $129.

gonna buy it at HD in the next days $129 pricematch to $99 + extra 10% off them im at $89.10 for that kit, and its local (5mins away) in case of warranty. and not 50mins away to the next Lowes

oh plus $10 off when my receipt is over $100

Love seeing that UPS truck outside the house, always means something good is coming. Specially when it was free! Have fun with it and all the rest that’s coming.

Got off duty (I said duty……) and saw a big box on the back steps! ODH182 wireless AND battery set up kit with a Bosch 18v charger and a 4.0 battery!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeee……..eeeeeeeee………eeeeeeeet!

The Bosch GLM15 laser came in today! Man….it is really compact!!!

It’s like Christmas over and over again. Stop playing with by the way.

ya the glm15 is really tiny.

I have the DLR130 – more functions and about 2″ or so bigger

And the EGO blower came in today!!! Just got back from the groomers and my wife and I saw the box at the door! Sweet!!

The Ego blower is one of my Favorite cordless tools. It just works really well. Also the Greeworks 80v snow blower is pretty impressive too. It works great on those 4-5 inch snowfalls. The only thing is it only comes with one battery pack. It does have a long runtime but I would like to have another pack to swap between though.

how long last the battery from the ego blower ?

I’m telling ha, I might say screw it and start playing with this stuff! It’s all in a pile on ,y dining room table screaming come to me Christopher….drive lags, cut sheet rock, shoot walks with lasers and when it’s all done….blow the dust! When it’s all said and done, I’d like to do a group picture!!

Rolair coming today!!! Just got a ups notice! Can’t wIt to get home…plus I sold my little dub craftsman super loud compressor last week on CL and I need to put air in my Wife’s tires on account of the cold snap!!! Woo hoooo!

so what tools you missing now from the UTB? or did you receive all already?

So far I haven’t received the Klein bag and tools associated with that or the Bosch Multi tool MXH180 or the Milwaukee M12 Fuel impact. What’s cool is Bosch sent me a 4.0 battery pack and charger so I am guessing that is going to power the brushless multi tool. I can’t believe how quick things have been coming in. I wanted to wait to open up the tools till everything comes in but we will see. I am building down in my shop and want to put these guys to work. I’m stoked!

the 4.0 battery gonna be awesome for the MXH180. im loving my MX30E (the corded version of yours 😛 ).

I started to rehab my garage and it comes so in handy. just have to buy some more blades.

I had to cut around nails to get off the wood panels, but sometimes I hit accidently a nail behind it and they blades don’t like that too much haha.

I gonna start in the next days a new post for that
