Thanks so much guys! I was down in my shop with a friend tonight looking at it all askew thinking….man….I am SO blessed. Now where the heck am I going to fit this stuff?!?!?!?!!?! I really appreciate the kind words it means a lot 😀
you already received the bag?
No not yet Madman. I don’t think I’ll hear anything for a little while. Still….I’m thinking where to put the compressor and planning everything out. Still honest to God, blown away. I’m going to do what Conductor did and get the hose reel from harbor freight when the Rolair compressor comes in plus the Tekton hose. I’m plotting away!

Don’t worry I am sure there are plenty of us that will volunteer to “store” the stuff you do not have room for.
well if it’s any consolation, that is a great problem to have….lol again congrats…… I won a pack of double bubble gum in the 6th grade, I know the awesome feeling of winning something……
ya I might know how you feel chris 😛 I wait for the Milwaukee angled driver – ok not to compare like your ultimate win haha
those bosch items are just awesome
Yea I wouldn’t expect anyone to see much till after the first of the year. It’s going to take time to get things communicated and shipping this time of year is also difficult with vacations. Your also going to love that Ego blower that thing is amazing!!
Yes Chris congrats man. I’m sure your super stoked, even with no festool in the tool bag. Lol know you have more toys to fill up your new workshop . Any Picts coming on that.
I hung a few sheets of OSB so far. Every time I go down there I get side tracked. Today is the last day of vacation too :(. I’m hoping to build a full wall around the basement landing and then bring it out about ten feet next to the furnace where it will stop. Sometime in early January, a family friend will be coming over to upgrade my panel to 200 and run new lines into the shop where I will have a half dozen outlets or so (I’ve run outlets off existing lines and out in a couple of fluorescent lights off of existing lights…I don’t do electricity). Heat will continue to be a problem till I get a wood or pellet stove down there so for now I use a kerosene torpedo to war it up. It’s still going to be a dark basement shop…just with new bright walls and lots more room (compared to my last crap space) and plenty of led bar lights.
Congrats Chris, and congrats to all the other winners as well..
Thanks Mikey and welcome to the forum! Have fun poking around, it’s a great site and the members are really friendly and can offer up great advice.
Thanks man,,, love this site……
Congratulations Chris! Well deserved!
I switch out my lights in my shop. Atm i got 8x 4ft long fluorescent T12 lights with old magnetic ballast’s. Then i saw the new led 4ft shoplights at Costco. Bought 1 to test it, amazing bright. Ended up buying more for $40 each and lifetime is about 45y. 1 led shoplight is almost as bright as 4x fluorescent lights
Awesome win! Congratulations dude
Thanks NR!777. It STILL hasn’t sunk in! I wasn’t really around yesterday, stressful day at work and got home with the beginnings of a cold. I took Friday off so have a four day reset after my 9 days off! Madman, im going to try those LEDs. The floor display is insanely bright and its a really natural colored light as opposed to that blue tinged light. I’ll probably pick one up today or tomorrow and wire it in.
Also congrats on being appointed as another moderator!
ya let me know what you think about those when its installed.
I definitely like the led shoplights. it has a lil blue touch.
but even the fluorescent lights have a blue touch when you buy the cool white with 6500k or something.
I have one led light in the middle of the garage with a motion sensor, instead of the light from the garage door opener.
