DW745 Table Saw at Home Depot

hey guys…Dewalt DW745 table saw at Home Depot….$225!!!!!!!! That looks li,e a pretty awesome deal!!

Additionally,

Ridged R45161 Table Saw…..$199!!!!!!

Both seem to be hoping good deals. Looks like Ridgid has a slightly larger table capacity plus lifetime service. Dewalt….well that’s just a really good saw.

That is a damn good deal! Great saw.. sold my Bosch 4100 for one and not a single regret

In store or online?

Yesterday I had Home Depot price match Amazons $275 price on the DW745.  ($25 of $100 DeWalt Promo)  At that time (11AM PST)  the price was still $299.  i got a written quote for 275 but now can get in down to $225 Thanks so much for the info!!  I may not have seen the change without this post.

FUUUUU…i bought lots of shotgun and pistol ammo and then this comes up, why did that have to happen now! cant return ammo.

my local HD has 3 bosch table saws all the sudden in the store. (Bosch GTS1031)

funny story about it, the display saw…you can just look at it from the back, you look straight in the dust chute.

the front of the saw faces towards the shelf lol and its mounted with screws to the shelf as well.

so who smarta$$ was that lol

If I had the space and the $$ I would have bought a cabinet saw, but the DWE7491RS was the next best thing portable can stand up and can rip 32 1/2 inches

Yes! I love my 7491RS. Combine that and a track saw and I can cut ANYTHING with ease.

it definitely looks like a great saw – I would love to own a bosch plunge saw, but its not available on the US market

I used the app and paid with my debit card applying the $10 credit on checkout. Walked into HD last night, 24 hrs later and it was waiting in the bin for me. They printed me a receipt and off I went!!!

OH!!!!!! And by the way! The max width isn’t 16-1/2″ it is the newer version with 20″ rip capacity! I learned that on Stuart’s site and confirmed it on the box before I picked it up!

I grabbed mine last night just before they closed. I have a large contractors saw in the garage but my little portable died this past summer. I’ve had my eye on the 745 for a while and at $225 it was a no brainer.

I haven’t been able to play with mine yet as I’m just getting my new basement shop together but this thing looks like an awesome saw. I’ll be getting a Diablo blade for it but soon….soon…..soon!

chrisk I know ur having a hell of a time using your tools bro I haven’t had any big projects lately but I got one on Friday were gonna be build a small deck and putting a new wooden fence at my inlaws house and cant wait to put my 780 to work and use my drills man :}

Sounds like fun Mike! It’s pouring out right now and the ground is frozen solid so the only outdoor work I can look forward to until June is shoveling and snow blowing snow, chopping up felled limbs and digging my neighbors out of their driveways. You know….until I get to work and the digging people out of snowbanks cause their four wheel drive “must be broken”….. 🙂

finally broke down and picked up this saw, the price was a no brainer and was able to score no tax, gonna be putting it to work tomorrow installing some Christmas gifts.

MM I got it about almost 2weeks ago and have used it on 2 projects already yest we built a 13×13 deck for my inlaws and this beast did great I’m so freakin happy I went with the 780 with XPS light it really came in handy last night working outside where the light wasn’t to bright I got a cool deal with an app that my wife has it save me almost 200 bucks with the stand which is also cool,if it wasn’t for that I would have gone with the 782 which still isn’t bad but I got lucky!! I’ve been trying to upload pics from my phone but can’t I think it this stupid update that’s messsing me up

Hey Bigmikez glad to hear you got the 780. Something else nice about this saw you can cut crown molding on the flat makes it a little easier to work with. 

Nah Mike, the file load limit has dropped. I can’t upload pics anymore unless I add a link to photo bucket (one of the guys here pointed out the site to me). I’m really glad the saw is working out Mike. I’ve actually used the Kapex on two small jobs but wow…AWESOME!!!!!!

Good choice Bigmikez. I love my 780. Although it’s acting up strange as of late.

Recently had to cut 120mm baseboards. Cutting them standing up is so nice. No freaking bevel adjustments needed.

That’s one thing I would like to see different on a new model. To be able to adjust the bevel from the front and no more reaching out the back. I have to give that (partly) to the Festool with their dial-in system (partly, because there’s no override afaik to tilt it and then lock it)

Nice that you got the stand with it. A saw this size deserves a stand 🙂

Here’s a couple pics man I really love this saw and the stand is really badass 2, I thought I took more pics of a lil project I did for my inlaws but didn’t :/ but Thnks guys this was the best and most expensive purchase so far in my tool collection so far but well worth it!! Chrisk I know ur enjoying ur Kapex bro I’ve been finding any reason to use mine right now lol! And Regopit I’ve got some trim work coming up so I’m excited to use this badboy!!
