Festool has a new multitool out and it’s at the toolnut. Starting at $425. Looks like it has a few add ons.

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Besides. I got a gig with Bosch. Remember?????????

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

I don’t think festool would let that happen

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

That was just for pants Chris. You can model both.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

That apron is a little too European looking for me 🙂

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Listen ladies….when your on a liquid and cigarette diet you have to watch what you model….clearly chinos were designed for my calves and aprons are for da bitches in da kitchen…

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

But then again….it IS Festool…..;)

Running joke from last year…Regopit superimposed a pic of me, Eric and Dan on the gay a$5 Bosch Chino dorks model, ing in Prague or something! Don’t worry NE…you and me…..Festool! Green Baby…..GREEN!!!!!

chadlanthierMember since Mar 2013

I think I would like to see that picture. I need a good laugh.

BK13Member since Nov 2013

I bet if Festool made Capris Chris wouln’t wear anything else when not in uniform…

BK13Member since Nov 2013

Not to derail this awkward thread about ugly dudes in ugly clothes, but I hope that Dan and Eric can put together a tool fight between the new Fein 350 watt OMT and the Festool. I want the orange one pretty badly…

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

That would be a really cool tool fight.

chadlanthierMember since Mar 2013

Yeah it did get kind of awkward quick. Tool fight. I wonder if they will come out with a cordless version.

chadlanthierMember since Mar 2013

On another note Festool needs more post on this forum. Right now it’s one step up from “other tool manufacturers”

DAMMIT……I’m da German!!!!! Get into da choppah!!!! My chinos and apron will protect you!!!!! Arghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

NERemodelingMember since Aug 2014

from my understanding, the Vecturo is based almost 100% off the Fein Supercut..  there is talk that Fein actually makes the bulk of the tool for Festool then Festool adds their own housing, plug it cord and developed their own bases like the plunge base.

Im not saying this is 100% factual but its just what i have heard.

Case and point.. it has been proven that the Festool Plunge base will mount directly to the Fein Supercut    so if you already have the Supercut and you are really digging the plunge base, order up!!  also the blades are interchangeable between both units

Sooo   while i would like to see a comparison between the 350 and the Vecturo (to know if and how much better it is for the money)  a comparison between the 350 and the Supercut should yield the same results and might be more feasible in the near future

I posted this in another thread also, but i would love to see a compairson that included the 250, 350 and supercut    to know, if you were only considering Fein, which was the best bet

Phew!   you had me worried for a minute!!  🙂

after seeing those pictures i must admit, you wear those little pants well my friend  hahahaha

and as far as the apron goes.. thats a hard one.. yes on one hand an apron is much more at home in “da kitchen” but then again do “da bitches” really deserve a festool apron?? also we dont want them making their kitchen duties faster-easier-smarter.. then they will start finding free time in which they will wander from the kitchen… they will start to want equal rights, ability to vote, real jobs and…… us to cook for them NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!    keem the women away from the festool apron!    its perfectly acceptable for a man to wear a SHOP apron as long as it is made of leather or has a tool/gun/car brand on it    ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

Funny pictures

BK13Member since Nov 2013

Been thinking about this just a little… I’m starting to think that both the Fein and the Festool have capibilities so far advance from what I need and/or make use of, that either would be way overkill.

But then, I like overkill.

im not sure what your usage is, professional or personal and how frequent, but my guess is that either the supercut or the Vecturo are wayyyy overkill.. if you are considering a Multitool, do yourself the favor and really consider the a Fein.. they are exceptionally engineered tools and do their job very well..

the older style FMM250Q is still awesome and on on sale over at the Tool Nut with all the accessories for $200  that is awesome price (same price as the newer FMM350Q without all the accessories)

http://www.toolnut.com/Fein_FMM250QTOP_Multimaster_Oscillating_Tool_Kit_p/fmm250qtop.htm

(the picture on tool nut is wrong and is of the newer model.. the part number is correct though, the accessories should be very similar)

BK13Member since Nov 2013

Yeah, John, the Fein Multimaster is what I’ll likely end up with. It will be total overkill for personal use, but I kinda like German tools, so a little extra dough won’t bother me that much.

Also plan to get an M12 cordless, if they ever come out with a Fuel version.

Pumpkins beware! LOL

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Amazon supply had that sick deal on the Fein this summer on the old version FMM 250Q for 79 dollars

It seems to be very similar to the fein, in fact they share a motor don’t they?
