New to the market is the DeWalt Bluetooth Speaker. Where other jobsite options on the market involve more features that drive up the cost, the DeWalt Bluetooth Speaker targets users that mainly stream their music from their phone or MP3 player.
The DeWalt Bluetooth Speaker is a really simple and easy to use setup. You’ve got a USB charging port for your device, Bluetooth connectivity, and an auxiliary port. This is a great option for users that actually want to have their phone on them. You know, someone might actually call or text and you don’t want to run across the site to get your phone. The solution to that has either been to use the phone’s rather poor speakers or drag the radio around with you.
The DeWalt Bluetooth Speaker is powered by an included AC adapter or with your 12V Max/20V Max Lithium-ion Battery. Bluetooth 4.0 is installed on the system to provide the most up to date connectivity. A pair of 2-1/2″ speakers provide sound. The design features a rubber overmold and rubber feet. An LED light bar makes the display easy to read while the large rubber buttons make it easy to adjust settings while wearing gloves. Just make sure that you mute the speaker when your wife calls while you’re listening from another room.
“Many professionals on jobsites either listen to or stream music from their mobile phones. Often, contractors who want to stay mobile will listen to their music through the phone’s speaker setting,” says Todd Plajzer, Product Manager, DEWALT. “The AC/DC DCR006 Jobsite Bluetooth Speaker gives users the option to listen to music from their Bluetooth-compatible device without sacrificing the sound quality.”
The DeWalt Bluetooth Speaker is slated to retail for $89, but it looks like Home Depot already has their product page up and running with a $79 price tag. It will be available starting in November at DeWalt retailers nationwide.
– Power by 12-volt/20-volt MAX batteries or AC power adaptor
– Up to 100 ft. range
– Up to 15 hours runtime (1.5Ah 20-volt MAX)
– Rugged and durable design to withstand tough jobsite conditions
Wow, that looks, like a pretty slick box. Curious how the quality of sound will be but the price is great and it looks tiny.
I like the size over the normal job site radio. I will say the new Milwaukee radio is amazing with the sound but the heft and size is annoying. I would like to see an updated M12 radio soon.
I would like to see a Bluetooth adaptor for my Bosch gml…

You can use the DCR002 adapter in your Bosch

That cool to see and you can get one cheaper on Amazon. I have the Bosch PB360 and love it. Heavy and big but hey….they shot the thing multiple times from a catapult. It’s gotta be heavy. Like the song says….He ain’t heavy.,.he’s my brother…..(yeah baby yeah!!! Austin Powers)”

The sound is pretty okay, but it is not a boomblaster.. It is a nice speaker
79 bucks is a great price hope it stays that way, i like that it doesn’t look like it wont take up space but I wonder how durable it is without the roll cage. 15 hrs on a 1.5ah battery is awesome cant wait to c it in the stores
Awesome!!!!!!! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for
if you look at the design the roll cage is built in. I wouldn’t worry about is durability at all because Milwaukee’s radios have built in rill cage designs and their built like tasks to take a beating. The m12 radio has thick rubber armorBigmikez wrote:

I was reading the description and this is perfect because I already have dewalt 12v max and 20v max batteries
Me 2 Javier I keep telling myself I don’t need it but I WANT IT MAN!! Lol! My wifey already asked me if I was gonna order it and I looked at her and said “yeeeeeeah” and she said ok so I’m good to go! 😉
PB360S is on my wish list. But there are 2 or 3 items before the radio 😀
but if my current radio in the shop would stop working – the radio goes to 1st place on my list
I can’t find the dcr 002 in ue …possible?
I just searched for it too on the EU market – I didn’t find anything too….
maybe our DeWalt experts have an idea….
but when there is no chance at all, if you are really interested in that item….
I can ship it to you….payment can be in Euros, since I still have my bank account in Germany.
i am Friday at a super sale where they have every item for -20% – maybe i can get it cheap there.
Madman you are so gentle!every time I was in Germany I always think Germans are gentlemen…but rude!before creating you disturb I wish to understand if with it I can connect my Nokia Lumia and go to a site for mp3 listening and listen with the bosch(I’m only a poor “Maurer”(mason in German language?)don’t understand almost nothing of technology…)very very loud.thank you again anyway here madman!!!

it should work when your phone has bluetooth
Hmmm…can I ask you how much total cost it in euro?(plus one present from Italy for your disturb of course!!)I’ll try to find by myself but is nice to have a last chance..
It will cost around 40-45 euro for the item plus additional shipping costs to Italy

You will be able too bye it in started of 2015
Thanks kwc!
GML20 = PB360S
GML50 = PB360D ( 50 Watt Output instead of 25; Sirius Satellite Doc/PlayPort; Remote; 4 GFCI, Backlight Control Panel )
I would love to buy the “Luxury Edition” of that radio, but I cant find it anywhere here…
I Got gml 50 but dont know Sirius…
its satellite here in the states
See tis I would find more use off, then the radio. I rarely listen to my radio in my car, yet I listen to iPod all the time.
This thing looks awesome
is it me or does it look old, I mean that in the nicest way…..
Its a nice little radio

This is so compact I can even take it with me to my night job and listen to it at my desk
How long will this run with 1 of those batteries

I think I heard up too 15 hours off a 1.5 amp pack, correct me if i’m wrong.
There is one thing I hate about the Dewalt 20V radios are you cant see the battery fuel gauges because the way the battery is orientated.
i saw that radio today at a local HD store, right next to it the bluetooth adapter kit
I was hoping these were still on sale but the price went right back up :/
Yea it looks like its staying at 80$ US

Agreed with Sam. Saw this at one of my local HD’s and it hadn’t moved from the $80 price point.

I just won one of these yesterday at a DeWalt promo at my local Lowes. Was so anxious to get it open, like a kid leaving a toy store, I sliced my finger on that damn plastic packaging.
It’s a pretty neat little speaker. Good for indoor or shop type work. Portable, compact and syncs very quickly.
Congrats Ricky I also like my lil radio to everyone who sees it like it a lot to I carry it with me in my truck all the time wherever we go
