They might not look pretty but they are planters for potatoes and container corn. This was all made with scrap 2×4’s I had laying around from the basement remodel. I shouldn’t say scrap but some of the wood they sell as 2×4’s should be called scrap. Well enough ranting figured I would show this weekends work around the back 40 feet.
We either have to cut our own lumber or make a 30 mile round trip to get some good lumber. The lumber place in town sells the warped crap. There might be one good board in 100 2x4s.
It’s just hard to find good lumber anywhere anymore.
Sounds like a battle I’m constantly fighting.
