PortaMate Megavise II – Basically a JawHorse but cheaper. Probably not built as well as an actual JawHorse but we all know names sometimes don’t mean anything. This could be a great thing to have, especially considering the price.
Actually Kato, I have the Triton PortaMate and have had it for over a year and a half. It’s a quality vise and I spent the same for it on Woodcraft when they had a special. Basically it operates the same as the Rockwell and I would recommend it. It does a good job.
