Hi everybody. Im Bill & I am a plumber from CT. I’m into woodworking in my spare time. Beem in the trades for 15 yearsand there is not much I haven’t done or seen. Love working with my hands and the sense of accomplishment you get when a job gets done right. As for tools, I have a solid collection, but nothing excessive(my wife disagrees). Looking forward to some good conversations on here

Connecticut is a nice place. Well , I’ve only drove through there, pissed at a rest stop, and ate at a Wendy’s, but the drive up to Boston was beautiful going up I-84.

Of course after paying New Jersey $20 to drive on their road and being stuck in the Bronx for 3 hours, Connecticut really didn’t have much competing against it.

I’ve often thought about retiring in Connecticut to be closer to my beloved.

My beloved Proto that is 😆

Im trying to get the wife to agree to move out of ct. They have taxes for everything here and the are all astronomical! I paid $6000 in property taxes on my 2000sq ft ranch last year.

Wow, I pay $1700 a year on almost 3,100 sq. ft. What area are you looking at?

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Yea, I have heard the upper east coast property taxes are insane for some reason.

Yes, I currently live in MA looking to move to NH and MA is cheap compared to NH for Property Tax…..We got to many taxes up here.
