DC012 radio – can’t store radio stations

I can set (record) favorite radio stations but once I turn off my radio (even with a battery in the radio), my DC012 will no longer retain my favorite stations. Any thoughts on how to repair this?

Behind where the Dewalt Battery goes there should be a removable plate. Behind that you will find a 9v battery that should need replacing.

Thanks for the tip. Mine was actually a CR2032 (disk type) battery instead of a 9V battery but still the same idea. Thanks!

Is your radio a dc011?
