Researching any information about fires from Lithium-ion Battery Chargers or Battery fires that anyone is willing to share and any documentation as to the

Who was involved? Or anyone injured, property damage?

What brand or model was used?

When it happened with dates and locations or any newspaper articles or any follow ups from any Fire Departments, investigators, or County Fire Marshals?

Where it may have occurred, township, city or state?

I see that thee have been a few listed to this forum and I’d like to capture as much information that anyone might have.

Looking through the SafetyProducts.gov website it seems to be a growing trend across many states but not seeing much in the way of slowing or stopping them.

Seeing that two universities (FSU &FIU) are doing research on them now with a future plan for new batteries in way of the fires from these Lithium-ion batteries and bringing in a new type that exceeds the performance of what’s on the market now!

Hopefully to consolidate and bring to the attention of the Consumer Reports  and see what changes can be made soon.
