One of the major problems regarding the DW7491/92 is the adjustment of the saw angle. It’s very hard to reach intermediate angles, even with an electronic angle finder. Lifting the blade is done with a crank but not the angle of the blade. Did anyone thought about it? Is there any kit to transform the DW7491/92 and add a crank with any mechanical system to fine adjust the angle? All your inputs are welcome.

As you know the DeWALT DW7491 is a portable jobsite saw, designed for utility and sufficient precision.
A shop table saw loses the portability for increased precision.
My needs are satisfied by having both a portable and a shop table saw.

Thanks for your reply. I am not a professional. It’s simply a pleasure to invent new add-ons for such a machine. What I am proposing is quite challenging, I guess, but it’d be a funny project. I understand that as a portable jobsite machine it is sufficient for a professional.
