Can someone confirm that the battery depletion shut off feature is in the battery and not the tool?
From my understanding it’s both. The battery and tools have their own electronics. If the battery overheats, it will shut down. If the tool overheats or has shorts or something else, it can shut down. I forget how Ridgid works. Sometimes a battery will flash and tell you the issue if you can find the code.
