Hi everyone, just a newbie and wanted to introduce myself. Also while im here i guess i will ask a question. I am the proud owner of a Milwaukee 2962-20 1/2″ Mid Torque Impact and my dumb ass took it apart to clean it (wait for it) and yes when i was done and putting it back together i managed to dame the wire leads for the LED light ring. so if hook it up direct to the battery i can get to turn on and light up. if i plug the harness back in correctly i can only get the power mode switch on the bottom of the handle to light up, no lead ring? any thought? is there a safety thing I’m missing or is it just shorting to ground? Thanks for letting me share.
Welcome. Nice to have you here. This is above my pay grade. We have some smart people in here and sure they will chime in and help out. I don’t know much about electrical.
