Does anyone know if any other manufacturers of batteries will fit the Stanley Fatmax tools (in particular a hammer drill)? Or is there an adapter that will allow me to buy other battery types? I currently have only one 2AH battery, and it would be convenient to have at least one more, preferably of higher capacity. For example there seem to be lots of De Walt compatible batteries of up to 8AH. Is there a way to use something like these with the Fatmax tool?
Thank you – Rowan
I am not that familiar with the Fatmax line. I would think someone would create an adapter.

Stanley Fatmax has/had two different versions of batteries, the old version was compatible with Porter Cable batteries and new version is compatible with Craftsman batteries both available in NA market. Stanley Fatmax has also introduced 6.0 Ah batteries recently, not widely available though. They also have an adapter for older version of batteries that turns it to the new version of their batteries. I have posted about them all here on this forum, if you can’t find them let me know and I will find them for you. It seems 6Ah battery is the same size as 4Ah battery.
You can find the information here
