I’m thinking about adding some custom features to my Kobalt tool box, like installing a built-in power strip or some LED lighting for better visibility in low light. Has anyone here done similar mods? I’d love to hear what parts you used, how you mounted everything, and any challenges you faced. Photos or setup ideas would be super helpful as I plan this out!
I have not. I would like to, just need to find some time. If you end up doing it, post some picture, would be cool to see.

Thanks! I totally get the time thing—it’s been on my list for a while too. If I get around to modding my Kobalt tool box soon, I’ll definitely share some pics and details. Would be cool to see your setup if you ever get to it too!
