Ryobi weed trimmer on fire!
My father in-law came into my shop and asked if I had a fire extinguisher, I asked why he might need such a thing… we said,”my weed eater is on fire!!”
Sure enough, he had laid it on the ground and it had flames about a foot high coming off the motor end. I grabbed a hose and put it out.
Posting this as a warning as well as informational to the company. Going to try and up load a couple of pictures. Doesn’t look as though there is a way to do that.
Anyone know if Ryobi looks at this or of a place you can report to them?
