Hi All
I have a Makita BHP452 which has stopped working. When I pull the trigger the light turns on but the motor wont work.
I have tried the yoke and armature in a different Makita drill and it appears to work so I don’t think that the motor is the issue.
I checked the continuity and it seems to be the same as my other drill but I did notice that the voltage at the brushes is around 12v where as the voltage at the battery is 18v.
Does the voltage drop indicate a d faulty switch?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
