It seems Bosch trying to reduce the gap that the brand had in cordless power tools compared to DeWALT, Milwaukee and Makita. A few years ago they had less cordless tools, now they almost have everything the other three have.

I use to be a fan of Flir Thermal cameras.  I have never tried the Makita one but I have used the Milwaukee and Dewalt.  I am a huge fan of the Hilti and Bosch ones.  In my opinion Bosch and Hilti are the best, then Flir, then the Dewalt, Milwaukee.  The last two Flirs I used had so much lag, just like the Milwaukee and Dewalt.  The Bosch and especially the Hilti had no lag even if I was moving it around fast.

I use a Bosch laser level, and the razor sharp light blows away Milwaukee’s and DeWalt’s I’ve tried.

loool I was expecting a bit more from the DeWALT one as it is(was) made in UK and was very expensive, around 1000 GBP.

I have used only DeWALT ones (3 different models), but it is good to know that the Bosch ones are better as I am trying to get rid of DeWALT tools as much as possible, mostly sold and a few is left and one of them is the laser. No more Chinese made tools if others are available! I was hoping Stabila would make a German made one using Metabo’s 12V batteries but I found out it was also made in China! So in cordless lasers issue all brands make them in China and we can’t escape that fact, unfortunately! Maybe Leica will join one of these battery alliances and make one in Italy, Switzerland, Germany or Hungary!
