Mystery Parts – Identification Requested

My brother and his wife were nearby for an extended trip pulling his new VERY NICE toy hauler 5th wheel camper.

One of the camper teething problems was that some of the wet bolts (in an image below) would not accept grease to lubricate the suspension. The camper dealership shipped those to him at my address using UPS 2nd Day Air. UPS lost that shipment for over a month.

The shipment suddenly arrived at my door, but the contents were not 14 wet bolts and instead were a bag of about 100 of these parts.

The dealership was sent images of these parts, but were unable to identify the parts. I also have no idea what the purpose / usage of the parts could be.

They have characteristics of a low-speed crankshaft.

The ribbed oil seal and the bearing surfaces would not tolerate rotation at high rpm speeds.

There is not anything on this “crankshaft” that would permit this rotating part to drive something else, like a splined or a keyed end. It might be that the blue “oil seal” is a gear to drive something else.

One end is rounded, the other is pointed.

Please comment with ideas as to the purpose for this part. Thanks.
