Any real life basis to the saw and the drill in Payday 2?

After further analysis of the drill model in PD2, I noticed it’s quite low-poly. So, I’m gonna remaster this whole thing from scratch. But… what is it based off of in real life? The way this drill is installed onto something to be breached looks like it utilizes some kind of magnetic lock. But “magnetic drill” doesn’t quite get me what I’m looking for. This drill has a fuel tank on the right side and a recoil starter rope on the left. But nothing matches that natural gas internal combustion engine this drill utilizes.

The same thing applies to the saw. Now, me being a heavy equipment guy, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out how hydraulic cylinders work. But it’s fuel tank, cables/hydraulic pipes, and clamp securement system are what stump me. “Vice clamp natural gas saw” didn’t get me what I was hoping for on this tool either. 😕 It has “BLOWBACK” pasted to its tank and three cables that run to the blade guard and it’s two cylinders.

So… I’m stumped. Any leads on what these tools are based off of?
