After removing a bit from my drill, it will not tighten up on another bit. It seems the 3 fingers are locked at the back of the opening and will not move. How can I unstick the 3 fingers so they will move forward to engage a bit? Any help will be appreciated.
Does the chuck rotate and the jaws do not get tightened?! Or the chuck does not rotate at all?! If the chuck does not rotate then you can use WD-40 and it might help, if the chuck does rotate then you might need to change the chuck, most of the chucks are not repairable!
