Hi,
Using a Makita DRT50 router/trimmer to cut the grooves for the intumescent strips on a fire door.
The straight guide that comes with the tool wont allow me to bring the guide close enough to the cutter unless I take off the nylon base plate. (22mm cut required)
The body aluminium underneath the plate isn’t to bad to be able to complete the job, however I would prefer having a base plate fitted for a smoother cut.
Does anyone know of a thinner base plate on the market or another adaptor that I can use?
Links or pics be helpful.
Thanks
Did you check the other adapters Makita lists on the official site?
