My 18 ga Ryobi air strike won’t function properly when cold , no problem when it is warmed up ??

Is the battery col or just the tool?  Lithium don’t work well when they are cold, they have to warm up.  I had the same issue with my Milwaukee nailer when it was cold.  Once the nailer warmed up it was fine.  Not sure if it’s the gas inside or maybe the lubrication not being warmed up and sliding nice or what the cause is, but I do know mine had the same issue.
