My kitchen previously had a protruding pendant light (not pictured) that hid a lot of bug carcasses inside over time. One day I was looking at the ceiling and suddenly realized that this integrated ceiling might be good for recessed panel lights? So I immediately went online and looked for tutorials, the installation was easier than I thought, I finished updating my kitchen light fixture in just two days, doesn’t it look great now?😁

Looks nice. In America we call that an acoustic tile suspended ceiling. It is uncommon to see that used in homes, except in multiple story or high rise apartment buildings.

I guess maybe it’s because China’s population is so large and land area is limited so we have to save space? Like you mentioned, the vast majority of people in China live in tall buildings.🧐
