I have a Kobalt 1/2″ impact wrench I want to keep in the car in case of a flat. Crossover with 21mm lug nuts. Would a 2ah battery be adequate or should I go with a 4ah?
I would go with a 4Ah battery. Who knows when you need it and if the lug nits are frozen and require more use to get them off.
That is a great point. Any battery issues with heat/cold? Any particular way to safely keep in the car and protect the battery?
They are Lithium so if it’s soo cold, you can ruin the battery, same with the heat. You really don’t see it happening too much but it can happen. Also if it’s too cold, the battery will not work so you would have to let it warm up.
