Morning gentlemen, has anyone ever tried converting there weed eater (above) into a heavy duty brush wacker…thinking of buying the above and changing to a metal blade to clear some deer laneways where I hunt…is this possible? have to go cordless over gas as I don’t want to raise alarm bells with neighbors nearby
Let me know
I have not but if you do, I would like to hear the results.
I use battery powered trimmers for my lawn business. The noise will still be loud from my experience. If you can find the proper guard a brush cutter blade would work. Do you already have the trimmer? If not you might consider a multihead option from your preferred brand and just buying a compatible brush cutter attachment. Some brands offer dedicated battery powered commercial string trimmers that have brush cutters kits available.
