I have a Bosch PS31 12v that is one of my favorite tools. I was drilling holes 1/8″ in a piece of mild steel 1/8″ thick when the chuck quit spinning but the motor is still going and it sounds like a chewed up gear. Is this a nylon gear ? is there more then a primary gear inside ? A new gear box is almost half of what a new drill would be.
