I saw some early leaks of at least 3 new Ego products. The first is model LBPX1100. It is a new commercial backpack blower with 1100 cfm. I only saw one image and it looked the same as the 800 cfm model.

The second product is LBX1000. Another commercial blower but this time it is handheld style and only 1000 cfm. The handheld also has what looks to be an extra handle on the top from the single image I saw. I am not sure on the mph of either blower. I don’t know if the commercial blowers are the same but with Ego’s residential blowers, the numbers tend to be inflated. Hopefully this is not the case with the commercial blowers.

The third product I saw was a new single stage snowblower SNT2130. The main new feature seemed to be an extra lever on the handle to adjust the chute angle. Now you now longer have to reach down to set the chute angle. There also seems to be a second pair of lights on the handle for a total of 4 lights but there is not information to confirm what I think are more lights.

More Ego products coming. I saw them shown at a European event but hopefully we will see some of them at Equip Expo in a couple weeks.

We are getting a new multihead but for the commercial line. I don’t know details on attachments or if the existing attachments will work. It will be getting a Line IQ string trimmer head though. There is a new attachment coming for the homeowner powerhead called a scarifier. Another product we will be getting is a new homeowner lawn mower that has a new feature called precision mulch control. This feature has a lever on the side opposite the deck height adjust to control how much ch the mower bags and how much it mulches. Another item I saw was a smaller misting fan that fits on a bucket, a bluetooth speaker, and a backpack sprayer.

Some items are now showing up on Power Plus parts website. This also includes a new residential blower which has 880 cfm and over 200 mph. The two commercial blowers are not listed yet in fact no new commercial products are showing up on the site. The site has also switched from showing new for 2024 and now saying new for 2025. I wonder if the commercial products will be shown at Equip. The Ego booth is massive this year, and it specifically says “Ego Commercial” and not just “Ego”. I estimated the Ego booth alone is roughly the size of the SB&D booth which includes 3 big brands: DeWALT, Cub Cadet, and Hustler.

Interesting the booth is so big and also hitting the commercial hard.  Would like to know more.

The prototype commercial stander was the main thing I saw new. There was also the commercial zero turns we saw last year that we got a better look at. Barnaby said the mowers should go on sale sometime in 2026. He also said next generation batteries are coming including a 70 ah battery for the commercial mowers. It is expected to be available around the same time as the commercial mowers. I also saw a commercial multi head and a new walk behind mower that looked to be around 30 inch. I’m not sure if it was commercial or not. I also saw a backpack sprayer. There wasn’t much detailed walkthroughs of the Ego booth. I had to watch a number of videos to find what all was new and I might have missed some.

Thanks for the update.  Yes, I am looking forward to checking out those new products, especially the backpack sprayer.  Wow a 70Ah battery, that’s crazy.  Wondering what the run time is on those mowers?

I think it was 14 acre with the 70 ah setup but I could be mistaken.

It’s true that performance numbers for residential blowers can sometimes seem inflated. For commercial models, you’d hope the specifications are more accurate, as they’re typically designed for more demanding applications. It’s a good idea to keep an eye out for tests and reviews as they come out to see how these new models perform in real-world conditions.

not sure how accurate the commercial Ego blowers are but I know the non commercial blower numbers are inflated.
