My DCN692 will always leave 7 nails in the clip (and behave as if it’s empty) until I load a new clip behind it. It works fine if I do this, so it’s not a major hassle, just wondering if it’s normal or if the springs in the clip assembly might be weak. Apologies if this has been covered already.
