My dewalt DCN6932 ONLY FIRES IN SINGAL SHOT MODE SWITCH IT TO 3 SHOT AMD THE MOTOR WONT EVEN WINED UP
There could be a few reasons why your Dewalt 20v framing nailer only fires in single shot mode (1-shot) and not in the other modes (likely bump fire and full sequential fire). Here are some things to check:
Mode Selector Switch: Double-check the mode selector switch to ensure it’s fully engaged in the desired firing mode (bump fire or full sequential) and not stuck in the single shot position. Sometimes these switches can be a little finicky.
Depth of Drive Adjustment: Verify that the depth of drive adjustment isn’t set too shallow. If the nailer can’t drive the nail in far enough with the selected mode, it might default to single shot for safety reasons.
Air Pressure (if applicable): While your framing nailer is cordless, some models might have an air pressure adjustment for driving force. If it’s a compressed air model, ensure the air pressure is set within the recommended range for the nail size you’re using.
Battery: Make sure the battery is fully charged and making good contact with the nailer. A weak battery can affect functionality.
Jam or Blockage: Check for any jams or blockages within the nailer that might be preventing the firing mechanism from working correctly.
Dirty or Damaged Parts: Over time, dust and debris can build up inside the nailer, causing malfunctions. Refer to your manual for proper cleaning procedures. Worn or damaged internal parts might also cause issues.
Here are some additional resources that might be helpful:
Dewalt Manual: Consult your Dewalt 20v framing nailer manual for troubleshooting steps specific to your model. It should have instructions on how to adjust settings, clean the nailer, and identify potential problems.
Dewalt Support: If you’re still having trouble, you can contact Dewalt support for further assistance. They might be able to diagnose the problem or recommend taking it to an authorized service center.
Remember, for safety reasons, if you’re not comfortable troubleshooting the nailer yourself, it’s best to take it to a qualified repair technician.
