my new fuel cordless sawsall cuts out on power if using a 5 or 6 battery. works great if I have the 12 in it. This is my 3rd fuel sawzall and none of my others have had this issue.
I have heard of people having issues with some of the new Sawzalls. I am not sure what models or manufacturing dates but sounds like it’s an issue not isolated to you.
