Wow they kept all that quiet!!! Glad to see some combo packs, I do not like that the new M18 light is not included, but is the light that is included new? It says led so maybe its as good as the others. Also wow a blower, would have never guessed that would be the next release, they really have a lot up there sleeve, glad to see it also acts as an inflator, deflator. That would be good for inside a building during framing up, cleaning out a workshop with out the fumes.

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

The light has been out for a while. It is just the old one with a led bulb. Sadly no modular storage included. The blower isn’t too bad of a price either, only $99

I think modular storage will be a big thing at the symposium in march or april.

Cool find Nicholas. All fuel combo kits look sweet. It is kind of surprising about the new blower. Would of been GREAT if it was the modular storage or at least a m12 rivet gun.

I am really surprised about the blower, I am really betting Modular storage is going to be the big thing at the product symposium!! I bet they have done tons of research about the other products, and are going to blow it out of the water.

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

I didn’t expect it. They also have an m12 combo kit with the impact and drill. I would love to see a fuel impact wrench combo kit with the compact and full size.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I would really like to get the blower I like to keep my work area clean!

JavierMember since Aug 2013

That’s awesome. The real question is what’s the price for the fuel combo kits. The model numbers are strange because it looks like the same number as the 2 combo kit, i might be wrong. And they have a 24 and 26 at the end. Looking only at the model numbers I would assume it came with 4 or even 6 batteries in the kit.

The blower is like makita’s but still a nice addition

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

They didn’t have a price on the kits. I also asked them if they were going to make the fuel impact combo kits and a pop rivet tool.

JavierMember since Aug 2013

You guys and your pop river guns and me and my battery powered cordless nailers. I asked Milwaukee to do the same for the m18 nailers. All they said was they would submit it to their new products department

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Haha, the poprivet gun they are going to make one just so people will stop asking about it 🙂 The nailers would be nice though I like the idea of the Dewalt but who want’s another battery platform sitting around :/

JavierMember since Aug 2013

I was kinda hoping the fuel combos would have the m18 flood light

DR99Member since Nov 2012

That new flood light isn’t cheap to make It would have been nice though to see it in a kit.

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

The 6 tool kit would be awesome, but it’ll be pricy. I’m guessing $800 ish

RedSionnachMember since Aug 2013

I think you’re right, since there are no batteries with the kit.

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

It comes with two but I think that they forgot to list it or ran out of room.

RedSionnachMember since Aug 2013

It could be. Remember though, just because it’s in the picture doesn’t mean it’s necessarily in the kit. I go by what they have listed.

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

They have a charger listed. No one has it for preorder yet so we will find out later.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

The old Milwaukee M18 six piece kit came with 2 XC packs. I wonder if they will keep offering 2 of the high capacity packs 4.0ah packs, or offer a 4.0 and a 2.0 to keep the price down.

The Home Depot I deal with has a full time ITT rep in the tool department ( Mon –Fri  8-4). I asked him about combo kits before I started to buy my tools. He told me that Milwaukee was coming out with them, but was told not until springtime and no price had been set. This was back in early December.

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

I bet two of the 4.0 batteries. The m12 fuel combo kit has one of each.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

I’m not sure if I’ll expand my Milwaukee line yet. But…I found some 4.0ah batteries oneBay new off $65! I will buy one soon, I have two 3.0 batteries and they are great but my M12 4.0 is amazing in longevity.

Wow, That’s pretty crazy they have a guy there that often. I think I have seen a TTI rep once between the few HD stores I go to regularly.

This guy is there everyday they say. I know I see him every time I go in.

JavierMember since Aug 2013

I’m pretty sure it would come with 2 xc 4.0 packs. 2 because all the combo kits have 2, the only time you get three is if there’s a free battery promotion. 4.0 packs because the power tools are fuel models and I have a feeling the 2 saws only accept xc packs. I don’t know for sure but it makes sense

YukonPlumberMember since Nov 2013

Nice find, but I already built myself my own fuel combo with 4 4ah batteries. But sure I could have saved a couple bucks if I waited.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I wonder if they will add some more garden type tools like Makita. I have some Ryobi cordless outdoor tools but would love to be able to shrink battery platforms.

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

I think that they would sell great.

RedSionnachMember since Aug 2013

Milwaukee did confirm on Facebook there is 2 4.0 batteries. We’ll see if they fix the listing and overview.

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

The 6 tool kit is 999 but I couldn’t find a price in the 4 tool kit.

YukonPlumberMember since Nov 2013

999 is very reasonable

6 tool kit..on the wishlist for my home…22old with a crap load of snapon and matco at work but barley building my collection at home….i wish they updated the drill to a 3 speed like dewalts and the impact driver with a newer design(led ring)

Dewalt’s LED arrangement is the best around. The 3rd speed is useless IMO unless you plan on using it as a driver and in the impact era, most people don’t.

frankiegarcia19Member since Jan 2014

Thats true…they just need the led ring and maybe if they uodated them to be a bit slimmer/smaller…but im sire they will come with a fuel compact drill soon

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

That makita is tiny! I’m surprised that they still managed to get 1,500 inch lbs out of it.

that’s what I thought
frankiegarcia19Member since Jan 2014

Dang…thats amazingly small… Gonna need long bits for that one

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Hopefully they have the battery issues sorted out too with the new 5.0ah packs the 3.0ah batteries can have a short life. It’s a common problem people are having with Makita they have the oldest battery cells and packs on the market now.

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

I’d love to see Makita get their head back in the game, but we’ll see.
