As in title, does anyone know what the threaded hole is in the shaft? I could not find an accessory that would mount to this.

In Europe the screw comes for that is a socket head screw that you need 5mm Metric Allen key for it. So the thread also can be metric (maybe M6 Metric thread), but I am not sure about US as I know DeWALT uses Imperial sized accessories for their tools in US in some cases, I think their grinders in US does not use M14 metric accessories and there is an adapter for it. So you better mention if the tool is European version or American version and we can go from there.
