Dewalt tool app not connecting to battery

Hello my brand new dewalt tool connect impact driver and drill set with 2 5.0ah batteries appears to be faulty. My 3 drill connect to the app straight away with no issues what so ever but when I try and pair My batteries it does not work does anyone no a souloution for this
