Thought I would share some of my past woodworking projects.
Oak Chest and lined with cedar
Nice. Did you make the bed as well? I’m getting ready to build a kitchen table myself. I’ve decided on 7’x4′. I want to seat 8 comfortably or 10 in a pinch.
Yes i’m trying to upload some more pics but it is restricting me to only a certain amount of photos?

My next project is a kitchen table also.
I’m going to do the frame in pine with that primitive black finish the misses likes, with a honey oak top.
Sounds like its gonna be pretty sweet. Mine will be in Walnut with a nice storage cabinet underneath. Kind of like this one.

We looked at that table. I liked it, but needed something bigger. I wasn’t paying $2500 for a table made in Vietnam when I have thousand of dollars worth of tools and the skills to build my own. Nothing like building your own stuff if you’re capable of doing it right.
That’s right. If you have the skills to do it why not.
You guys will have to post pictures when your done. Man I need to get off my ass and get something started.
I saw Harold post some pics using google drive. So I thought I would do sorta the same thing.
Heres pics of some more previous work.

Wow, that’s some pretty serious equipment. What did your dad do? An Oliver 24 isn’t exactly a DIY rig.

Makes sense 🙂
Here’s a neat storage system I threw together for bar clamps this evening. Impact driver came in handy driving the lag screws.

Thank you sir!
Finally got around to getting the table top all glued up. Decided to go with a piece of oak inlaid in the Walnut.

Tons! Well, tons of dust anyway.
Between working and commuting and hour and a half to college I’ve been able to get some more work done on the table. The top isn’t attached yet. Just wanted to see what it looked like on its base. I still have the raised panel door and shelf to put into the cabinet underneath. Then the real fun starts. Sanding!!

Thanks! I was able to get a lot done today. I took the day off from work. Just to work more on my table. I enjoy this work though! Haha
Taking a day off work to work……sounds like something I’d do 😆
